What can I use to remove this stain?
I had an ultra sound on my arm the other day and they used a gel on my arm. The lady didn't wipe it all of after but it was clear so I didn't worry.
I put it through the wash the next day and when I took it out the clear stain turned yellow.
I used normal old Duo Laundry detergent powder to wash it, that's just a regular store bought Laundry Detergent btw.
Does anybody know how I can get ride of it, or you know, just explain to me what happened to turn it yellow?
To be honest, the best people to ask would be the people who gave you the ultrasound.
I know this sounds like a crap answer, but there are so many different brands and variations of transmission gel, that it's difficult to know exactly what the source of the stain is. Most gels are non-staining, but obviously this one wasn't, so the standard answers won't help that much.
Also, what kind of fabric was it? Note - treating it with random products before knowing what it is you're treating can cause the stain to set further or damage the fabric. Bleach is generally a terrible idea.
