It can be challenging but can equally be full of excitement if you know the rules of the game. One thing to note is the fact that you will definitely fall into these pits in the course of the game. The significance of this is that, it helps lovers of sonic games to identify the traces of routes, test weakness before the game finally comes to an end.
You would also have to know that the game will present to you series of challenges. In other words, you are required to face a battle with one boss of a kind at each level. Sonic is therefore left with the task of facing this while on the move. It's important to realize the fact that not all these levels will be overcome on a silver platter. For instance, the last one comes with lots of difficulties. You might have to consider the idea of collecting the emeralds, adding some difficulty to a game which is already challenging.
The process here includes the collection of the seven special rings that are found in the large acts. You are therefore required to collect all of them without being killed. Aside this, you would also have to make sure a special stage is complete at the end of the act. This will help you get your hands over the chaos emeralds. The fact is that you would not be complete without the accomplishment of the task of collecting all the emeralds so you will have to know dying more than once is most certain.
Lovers of sonic games would also have to note that the level of difficulty is linked with the level. You should then be prepared to spare lots of time for it. Don't worry; you will still have whole lot of fun with sonic games!

It was a long time ago.
I have almost forgotten my dream.
But it was there then,
In front of me,
Bright like a sun-
My dream.
And then the wall rose,
Rose slowly,
Slowly,
Between me and my dream.
Rose until it touched the sky-
The wall.
Shadow.
I am black.
I lie down in the shadow.
No longer the light of my dream before me,
Above me.
Only the thick wall.
Only the shadow.
My hands!
My dark hands!
Break through the wall!
Find my dream!
Help me shatter this darkness,
To smash this night,
To break this shadow
Into a thousand lights of sun,

Langston Hughes was a poetic god.
He was a child and had dreams, aspirations and things he wanted to be and do when he grew up (the sun)
But then as he got older (growing up), he encountered racism because of his color (racism is the wall) and he gives up (lie down in the shadow). But he wants to break free , and he wants everyone to help him smash racism so ALL PEOPLE OF COLOR can reach their dreams ("of sun").
