Where exactly does the "accent" shadow in an Eye Shadow quad palette go?
It is not around the crease because the palette has a separate shadow for that area.
Its not light, its black.
You can use it to line your lashes or apply it to the outer v area of your lid. Usually in a quad it's:
1. Lighest shade= browbone
2. Light Medium (shade between lightest and medium)= lid
3. Medium Shade= Crease
4. Darkest Shade= Outer V but you can use it on your lashline
If you're not sure where the outer v is, it's that area all the way on the outside of your lid.. you kind of draw a v (that would be sideways) ..you go from the most outer part of the eye and slant it up and outwards until you reach the crease and then bring it back inward.. I really hope that makes sense. If not, go on youtube and type in "outer v makeup" ..you'll find out where it is.
Also, you don't have to follow what it says.. you can also try applying the crease color to the lid instead or apply the browbone color to the lid.. and crease color to the outer v.. things like that.
I do feel that black is sometimes heavy on the lid (for the daytime) so you don't necessarily have to use that shade. If you want, that's fine too and if it's for the evening, that's great!
