I have 2 samples of helium how am I suppose to calculate their temp and speed with no information?
We have two samples of helium gas, both at standard atmospheric pressure. Sample 1’s mass is 137 times greater than sample 2’s, and its volume is 121 times greater. (a) Give a quantitative comparison of their temperatures. (b) Give a quantitative comparison of the average speed of the atoms in the two samples.
Thats the worst answer ever.. I dont know what their PV or nRT is.
Just assume that PV = nRT
P = pressure
V = volume
n = number of atoms (proportional to mass)
R = some constant (same for both samples)
T = temperature (in kelvins)
