Red Tinted Glaze or Polyurethane finish for old tiles?
I was wondering if there is such a thing as any kind of color tinted glazes that could be painted over old kitchen wall tiles or something that could be added to Polyurethane that would give it a sheer shade of red and dry like a glass finish? Has anyone ever done anything like that and did it come out ok?
I don't want to paint a thick coat of solid oil or porcelain color over the tile so much as just change the hues from ugly browns, beige and tan to shades of reds instead. Is this possible? Anyone ever do anything like that? Thanks much.
haha nice hat. Yes high gloss finish but with SHEER color that is durable and washable. Like the polys one uses to tint and protect wood floors but for ceramic tiles instead. Or is it all just the same chemical mix and just renamed and repackaged with a higher price tag?
