If your pale is it still possible to get a medium tan from a tanning bed?
my moms friend told me that if your pale you probably wont get a medium tan from a taninng bed....sine there isnt enough pigment in your skin (if your fair skinned...like me) so I just wanted to know if any light skin'd girls out there have been successful with a medium or dark tan? thanks =) i need some hope here HAHAHA
I get so light in the winter, and I used to never tan well in the sun, but I tanned beautifully in a tanning bed. Afterward, it made me tan Even Better in the sun! Just start out at a few minutes, say 3-5. Then work your way up each time to the max amount of time and stay there. If you burn, wait for it to turn to tan until you go back. I cant wait until I rejoin my gym and can go back to their tanning bed! 
But yes you will tan! I didnt use those fancy expensive lotions they sold, I just used normal lotion to keep moisturized. If you dont tan quickly, you could try buying some to help.
