What is the minumum setting time for concrete pad foundation before it lift?
we have to put a mass concrete foundation for construct sea water villa. the water villa will come on the Treated timber poles. for those timber poles we have to have a concrete foundation. we will cast the foundation with timber poles at the beach and later dump in to the sea using cranes. I want to know what is the minimum time that we should keep the concrete foundation before it dump in to the sea??
you need to have testing samples made at the time that you place the concrete. sometimes the concrete has enough strength at the end of 3 days. It all depends on your mix design and what psi concrete you need. If moving it does not create too much stress then it's possible that it could be moved after 3 days. you just need concrete test reports to tell you how strong the concrete is.
