Is there a problem with a 23 yr old using anti-aging skin cream?
I receive regular samples and its cheaper for me to use what im given instead of buying new stuff all the time. I have been sent some Estee Lauder re-nutriv ultimate lifting cream and Eye Cream, I have started using it and its nice stuff, but will this negate me using it when i am actually old? Also will it have any adverse effects on my skin ( on the surface it has not so far)?
It won't negate the effect as your skin continues to renew every 30 days anyway so the skin you have when you're older will bear no resemblance to what you have now, you cannot reverse the ageing process you can only improve skin texture and hydration levels (preventing the forming of deep lines and sagging but not entirely). The only thing is you don't necessarily NEED such a rich formula, there are ingredients in anti-ageing creams which are not necessary for your skin as it will still have a very good elasticity level. You'll be effectively trying to replace something which has not yet ceased to be produced. Take it down a notch and use something preventative and designed for your age bracket. It won't do you any harm but the formula will be a little rich.
