I want to grow a rose up my house front but the house stands on hard foundations. How do I overcome this?
The house has a sort of narrow gravel trench all around it, and I'm wary of digging into it and bridging the damp course. Could I grow a large rose in a pot and if so how big would it need to be to grow all the way up the front of the house, or should I just dig a small hole in the gravelled area?
