buy both colors. try both colors. return one (or mix the two). go to a store that allows returns.
walgreens, ulta, cvs are all pretty good with open/used make up items for returns.
no, you don't NEED primer if you use a good amount face lotion. make sure the lotion dries before putting make up on.
use concealer ONLY if you have blemishes, or just put a big glob of foundation on the blemish, let it dry, and then do the next step.
use a clean sponge (or finger, but it will be messy) to apply colorstay Liquid Foundation in tiny dots All Over your face and spread evenly. start off with less...then add more if needed.
you can use powder or powder foundation to set the liquid with a brush (this may not be necessary but you may have to reapply foundation during the wedding if you feel it going away)
