Makeup - How To Become 10 Years Younger For Old Ladies
Don't kid yourself. In spite of what you may read about the "latest lip color" and "newest shade of eyeshadow", much of the beauty industry and the image makers are still stuck in the past. Time for a dose of reality. Women (and men) will wear what they like, when and where they want to. It is increasingly evident that the cultural demographics of our country (and the world) are changing, and people who represent different races, religions, sexes and sexualities, and ages are being seen and their presence is being felt. Don't ever think you are too old to wearing sexy or have fun makeup. To that end, I offer six steps making up an old lady to make her looks 10 years younger.
- To the right: Your beautiful complexion needs only a touch of concealer and foundation (especially around the eyes to help hold shadow), which is set with loose translucent Face Powder.
- Your brows are groomed and brushed into a soft arch and defined using a basic brown eyebrow pencil.
- Using a medium Shadow Brush, basic brown powder eyeshadow is softly washed over the eyelid; dark brown is used to define the crease and outer corner of the eye; Light Beige is used to highlight the browbone.
- Black liquid eyeliner lines the upper lashline – slightly thicker along the middle. Lashes are curled – especially important for women whose lashes grow straight out – and lightly swept with black mascara.
- The lips are defined with a light flesh Lip Pencil, filled in then covered with a basic red crème lip color, using a lip brush, blotted, and reapplied.
- Finally, soft pink powder blush is dusted onto the apples of the cheeks, chin, and temples, using a large blush brush.

What Color Eyeshadow would look best with light brown eyes?
I have light brown eyes and light brown hair. What is the best make-up for me? (eyeliner, mascara, eye-shadow, and Lip Gloss).
eyeliner: first of all a girl should never wear eyeliner these days. you dont see celebrities walking around with it on besides the drummer from fall out boy! If your trying to go for the natural look. eye liner should be applied as close as possible to the eyelashes. NEVER anywhere else.
mascara: try fake eyelashes! they dont have to be extreme but you should see what a difference it makes! and you barely have to apply any mascara, or try dying your eyelashes. You must go to a GOOD beauty shop though where they know what they're doing! You can't trust home made products! But if your gonna stick with the mascara try Revlon mascara that comes in the blue bottle thing!
lipgloss: should basically always be pretty much clear! I use chapstick usually that doesn't contain any alcohol in it, so it doesn't dry out my lips!
eyeshadow: starting from the inside of your eye by your nose working your way out, eyeshadow should go from light to dark! but people usually with light brown eyes should stick with dark colors that make your eyes POP!
