What lights are best for taking pictures of fur coats so i can show the depth of color and sheen?
I want to put furs on a manequin and take digital photos of them using artifical lighting. What are the best kinds of bulbs and what would you use for a backdrop? Thanks.
Side lighting will give you the best detail. You can use a plain dark or light background depending upon the colour of the furs.
Use at lest a 250 watt bulb ... 500 watts would be better .. shorter shutter speeds.
